Can you not use more sustainable packaging?

We have been doing lots of trials with substitute packaging and reducing SUPs. Unfortunately, the packaging we use is best for keeping meat fresh and tasty.

We have trialled more sustainable boxes with wool lining, but they failed our testing process - by some margin. At this time, we're just not convinced these alternatives are safe enough, but we hope to be proved wrong when we next test them.

We supply some products to local chefs in food safe butchers paper, but this isn't practical for home deliveries. We're working really hard with a number of partners to make things more sustainable, but food safety will always come first.
